Samaritan's Purse launches Coming Together For Good
This is an exciting time for us here at Samaritan's Purse! In recent months, we have been rediscovering who we are and how that impacts what we do in the UK and overseas. During this period, we have also rekindled our passion for being part of God's mission in the world.
In order to express this thought clearly and let you explore all the ways that you can be involved, we have come up with something called Coming Together For Good . This is our way of saying what we are about - people across the UK joining with Samaritan's Purse to fill shoe boxes, Turn on the Tap, help out on the ground – demonstrating the gospel in whatever way we can. We even have a dedicated website - www.comingtogetherforgood.org.uk - for you to explore what this is all about. Please come and visit soon and let us know what you think!

TURN ON THE TAP is a campaign for safe accessible water for people in the developing world. Through a range of solutions from hand dug wells, water filters and boreholes to health and hygiene education, we are providing safe, clean water and helping to break the grip of poverty on local communities.
Our TURN ON THE TAP campaign has already raised hundreds of thousands of pounds to help communities access safe water. But STILL, 1.1 billion people live without access to safe water. It's an outrage!
Now we are asking people to go the extra mile – or four miles to be precise.
We are asking you to go on a four-mile walk that will help us TURN ON THE TAP for our urgently needed water projects around the world.
